BPP SPECIAL EDITION: KFC Community Events

Woah! There was too much for one issue! This bonus special issue specifically highlights community initiatives at KeyForge Celebration! Our standard weekly news update is available in Issue #92.

Overview

Today, Ghost Galaxy updated the official KeyForge Celebration 2024 web page to include community events (scroll down to the bottom)! These are events that were submitted and approved by Ghost Galaxy to be held at KeyForge Celebration. Check it out and see what extra events are being run at KFC!

In addition to that news, this issue adds some additional details and links for some of these events (plus a few others!)

NOTE: Not all of the events listed below may be ‘officially sanctioned’ KFC community events. Event details subject to change.

Scrubs Revenge Party

The Help From Future Self podcast just released their latest episode, and as discussed there and announced previously, the HFFS crew is holding a social gathering: the Scrubs Revenge Party. Everyone is invited, and the HFFS crew wanted to share these details with you!

Where: DoubleTree Roseville – 1st Floor Breakfast Conference Room
When: Thursday, November 7th @ 7:30pm CT
Why: Scrubs are more fun than winners ;) (and the below reasons)
What: Snacks, drinks (alcoholic + non-alcoholic), light social games & hangouts, SnackForge, shot glass keys, and prize giveaway!

SnackForge

Decks, tokens, and keys provided for free!
Deck: One random sealed from all 8 standard sets + Tokens of Change
Tokens: Snacks! (Plus some specially made edible tokens)
Keys: Custom shot glass keys (limited quantity; 1 set per player)

Prize Giveaway

Shot glass key sets can contain the following Yellow keys which can be collected and trade:

Media/Content Creator Keys: Sloppy Labwork, Ambermedes, Flightless Pheasant, Warcast Reforged, Phloxem’all, Bad Penny Press, Rule of Six, Vault Tracker, MoolGoGi_물고기, + 1 secret creator
Team Keys: AC, Reapout, ABR, Moor Wolf Pack, Visible Hand, Netherforge Lions, Weekend KeyWarriors, Sparkeys, [REDACTED], CornForge + 2 secret teams
Scrubs Revenge Party Key
- Players who pull a Scrubs Revenge Party yellow key win a special prize package including a HFFS Creator Card, more Keyforge decks, and a variety of other prizes.

Participating From Home

Non-KFC attendees can watch the official KFC stream on Ghost Galaxy’s YouTube channel and email hffspodcast@gmail.com with a description of what they watched or a screen shot of a comment they made during the stream to be entered to win a set of shot glass keys!

BPP Creator Cards

As we announced previously, we here at Bad Penny Press have partnered with 10 different KeyForge content creators to design and create match modifier cards! Serialized copies of these cards will be available at KFC in limited quantities from each participating creator, and we realized that we haven't shared how we’ll be distributing our Bad Penny Press cards yet!

The KeyForge community is important to us, being a community newsletter and all! In spirit of that, we’re most looking forward to connecting with you! If you’d like a Bad Penny Press creator card, come say hi and introduce yourself to us (outside of any official main event tournament play). We’d love to get the chance to meet you!

KAGI Live

Adaptive comes to KFC with KAGI Live! The event is being hosted jointly by the KAGI league and Sloppy Labwork, and runs throughout KFC.
