The Final Refrain Kicks Off

The Final Refrain, a premiere invitational online Archon tournament being organized by Emperor Riku has kicked off! The Opening Ceremony was streamed yesterday by Riku, Orion, and Lord Judo, as they assigned first round bracket pairings live and looked at the decks that will be played in the tournament.

The first round matches are expected to be played over the course of this week, and players can join The Final Refrain Discord server to see when matches have been scheduled and where they can watch them by one of several participating content creators providing coverage. The event is expected to conclude by April 5.

Q: On a previous turn, my opponent used De-Animator to turn my Chauncey into an artifact. Can I use Chauncey and resolve its printed “Action:” ability?

A: Yes. After being "De-animated", Chauncey will have two Action: abilities. After Chauncey is to resolve an Action: ability, the active player can determine which Action: ability will resolve. (Note that Action: abilities are unique in this way. If there are multiple Action: abilities on a card, only one can resolve.) If the active player chooses to resolve Chauncey's printed ability, they will destroy a friendly creature and Chauncey; If the creature and Chauncey are both successfully destroyed, the player gains 3 Æmber.
