Ghost Galaxy kicked off this week with their official report for Vault Tour Baltimore, detailing winning winners, as well as the tournament field of sets, houses and cards. Of special note, FrogLegs brought the first ever premiere tournament win for a Dark Tidings deck. As with the other reports this year, a highlight video is also included, which you can watch below!

Civil War Stakes

Ghost Galaxy expanded on the Martian Civil War special event by detailing what affect the event will have on the Crucible based on the outcome, determined by event results being reported across the world.

If the Elders win: House Mars maintains its visual identity and color scheme, with new cards focusing on the control play style of the Elders.

If the Ironyx Rebels win: The rebels leave the mark by changing the house icon and color scheme, with new cards focusing on the fighting play style of the Rebels.

Additionally, which ever side wins will see it represented in House Mars’ first ever Leader card.

Players wishing to participate and support a side in the Martian Civil War can do so at participating game stores running events between August 16 and September 15.

Q: If I reap with my friendly Replicator and resolve its After Reap: ability on my opponent’s The Grey Rider, what happens?

A: Nothing. Based on the FAQ entry for Sequis, Replicator does not gain the After Reap: ability of the card that it targets, rather the After Reap: ability resolves for that card. So in this case, resolving The Grey Rider’s reap effect would cause one of The Grey Rider’s to ready, but since nothing causes that neighbor to change to the active player’s control, the neighbor is unable to be used.
