Grim Reminders Available on TCO

On Tuesday, The Crucible Online announced that Grim Reminders decks could now be imported and played on the vastly popular community developed web-based game client.

Work on the Grim Reminders implementation of TCO began back in December according to TCO creator cyrogen. “Four or five people contributed, but by far the biggest in terms of sheer number of cards implemented has to be nedmike.” says cryogen, “SteVader has to have a special shoutout for getting all of the graphics done and the new GR theme.”

Æmber Skies Gamefound Preview

On Thursday, Ghost Galaxy announced that the Gamefound campaign for KeyForge: Æmber Skies would launch in April 2024. The Gamefound page is currently published as a “campaign preview”. Individuals who follow the campaign prior to its April launch will receive a House Skyborn pin if they back a reward pledge level during the campaign. As with Grim Reminders, retailers will also be able to back the campaign.

Æmber Skies will be KeyForge’s eight set, and the third set crowdfunded by Ghost Galaxy through Gamefound.

Grim Reminders SAS Scores Live

Decks of KeyForge creator Nova announced that SAS scores for Grim Reminders decks went live as part of the 7.0 update that went live on Sunday. February 25th.

“Grim Reminders decks are pretty high SAS. A lot of cards are just better in terms of raw value than past sets. R6, keycheat and recursion shenanigan combos are commonplace. There will still be a lot of improvements to be made, but I wouldn't expect things to purely be refined down.” said Nova in the announcement.

A future planned update to SAS is expected to include an update to the synergy and traits system. Lastly, Nova also gave special thanks to the SAS score contributors who had helped work to develop SAS scores for the set: jfilipeg, june, quickdraw3457, r0gershrubber, Player Hurp, and Big Z.

Q: My opponent has Blossom Drake (with no Æmber on it) and 3 other creatures in play. I have Cursed Tomb in play. If I fight and destroy Blossom Drake, will it gain the Destroyed: ability from Cursed Tomb?

A: No. Blossom Drake’s constant ability is active as long as Blossom Drake is in play. Once it has left play, it can no longer gain the destroyed ability from Cursed Tomb.
