Grim Reminders Gamefound — Week 3 Update
At the time of publication, the KeyForge: Grim Reminders Gamefound campaign had over $445,000 USD pledged.
On Monday, the campaign provided further details on the new Revenants, phantasmal creatures from previous sets with powerful new abilities. In addition, it was announced that if the campaign reached the $400K USD mark, then each backer would receive a Grim Reminders guaranteed to contain a randomly-selected Revenant.
Tuesday’s campaign update provided a comprehensive review of the different houses residing on the Crucible, as well as an overview of the game for new players.
On Friday, a double dose of updates provided both new information on the Treachery keyword (along with a few new spoilers) and an update on the graphical treatment to be used on the campaign exclusive “Awakening” decks. Cards with the Treachery keyword enter play under the control of your opponent and seek to inhibit their progress in the race to forge three keys. The “Awakening” graphical treatment adds a spooky flair to the border of Grim Reminders decks:

Ask a Judge
I play Talent Scout and resolve the Play: ability to reveal my opponent’s hand. The only creature in their hand is Bumblebird, which has the Alpha keyword. What happens?
In this case, you cannot play Bumblebird because you have already played Talent Scout this turn, so it will remain in your opponent’s hand. Then you will proceed to resolve the next sentence of Talent Scout’s Play: ability and your opponent will take control of Talent Scout.
