National Championships Approaching!

The first 2023 National Championships outside of the U.S. are coming up and are expected to take place between now and October 13th.

While no National Championship events have yet to be formally announced by Ghost Galaxy at this time, some event organizers have begun posting details online:

Roseville Vault Tour Report

Ghost Galaxy shared their complete Roseville Vault Tour results post Friday afternoon. The post details top placing players and decks, most common cards and sets, and a shoutout to top performers in the Second Æmber tournament and Gormangeist Speed Run Challenge.

In my battleline I have four creatures. My opponent also has four creatures. If I currently control The Promised Blade, what happens at the start of my opponent’s turn?

This is the first time “fewest creatures” has been used in a card ability, so we reached out to Ghost Galaxy to check to see how “fewest creatures” should be interpreted in the case of a tie. Ghost Galaxy stated, “If both players have the same number of creatures, no play controls the "fewest", therefore Promised Blade does not change hands.” So in the case above, if you control The Promised Blade and you and your opponent both have 4 creatures in play, The Promised Blade will remain under your control at the start of your opponent’s turn.

KarenB has gone undefeated in the A bracket, awaiting the winner of the loser’s final between LegendofElaina and dick_roland.

LegendofElaina has gone undefeated in the B bracket, with the loser bracket still finishing with 5 left alive including IrieDaily, Rikuns, real_siaka, AV8R, and KarenB.

Nunzio94 and Astron624 are matched up in the C bracket winner’s final, with 6 left alive in the losers bracket including hydrophilic_attack, LegendOfElaina, kf_kveld, KevlinLam, nedmike, and Lainusu.
