This past Friday, Ghost Galaxy posted a Gamefound update detailing the status of several regional and language pledge shipments. With some exceptions, all U.S. English-language pledge rewards have been shipped, Europe, UK, Canada, Asia, and Australia that include English, Italian, or French products have left their warehouse, and the shipment of Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Korean, Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, and German language products is expected to take place in the next few weeks.

Free Event Key Drop

As expected via earlier communication, players who made a Master Vault account prior to June 30th, 2023 should now see one free Event Key credited to their account — visible from the My Profile page.

One Event Key is needed to register for official qualifying events (such as National Championships) or official tournaments which feature cash prizes (such as the Vault Tour). Additional Event Keys can be purchased for 50 Æmber each.

Ask a Judge

My opponent has a Longusaur Lector upgraded with Friendship with two warded Scholars on each side. If I fight Longusaur Lector with a 6 power creature, will the 3 damage that is split between each Scholar be prevented by their wards?

No. Friendship's ability is another card that resolves in Step 4 of the damage timing; its replacement effect resolves when damage counters are placed onto the creature. This replacement happens after damage mitigation from effects that prevent damage, ward, and armor. Friendship's ability means that the damage counters that would be placed on Longusaur Lector are instead split evenly and then placed on Longusaur Lector’s neighbors. In this case, 3 damage counters would be placed on each Scholar neighbor. Since damage mitigation has already happened, the Scholars' wards cannot prevent the damage, and they would be destroyed.
