This week Ghost Galaxy sent out an important reminder about the Master Vault transition and the Philadelphia Vault Tour. With the move from Fantasy Flight Games to Ghost Galaxy, the Master Vault has seen multiple new features added, all of which require users to move their login from the previous Asmodee account to a new Ghost Galaxy account. This is an exceptionally important step for players who wish to compete in Ghost Galaxy’s cash prize tournaments; as a part of the transition, players will receive a free Event Key in their account if they complete that transition prior to June 30th, 2023. Keys should arrive in player accounts during the first week of July.

I have a 2-power creature upgraded with Officer's Blaster that has taken 2 damage. To its right is a 1-power creature. My opponent plays Pain Reaction, targeting the creature upgraded with Officer’s Blaster. Does the creature to the right survive the 2 damage from the "if this damage destroys" effect?

Yes. Pain Reaction’s "If this damage destroys the creature" resolves in the "after a creature is destroyed" window, so the Officer's Blaster will be attached to the 1-power creature (granting it +2 power) before the second instance of damage from Pain Reaction is dealt.
