Ghost Galaxy posted more information regarding the previously revealed 2023 U.S. Vault Tours.

Venue tickets are available for purchase through the Gamezenter Store Page. The page contains additional information on the Vault Tours, such as a schedule of events, and links to special rates for accommodations.

In addition to the venue ticket, players wishing to participate in the Archon or Alliance tournaments will need to claim a Vault Tour key on their Master Vault account. Information on how to do this is expected to be shared by Ghost Galaxy this week.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ROSEVILLE, MN VAULT TOUR DATE CHANGE

The date for the Roseville, MN Vault Tour at Gamezenter (previously scheduled for July 14-16) has been rescheduled to August 18-20.

More Vault Tours (both in the US and internationally) are expected to be announced in the future, and Ghost Galaxy is searching for those interested in being a judge at the Vault Tours.

Fall of the House Gormangeist Rules Published

Ghost Galaxy released the rules to the upcoming KeyForge Adventure Fall of House Gormangeist this week. The Adventure follows the same cooperative format seen in Rise of the Keyraken and Abyssal Conspiracy, but the new Adventure leans heavily into a new exploration mechanic and Æmber manipulation to create a win condition.

Gen Con Schedule Announced

The schedule for official KeyForge play at Gen Con has been released. The US National Championship will be held in both Archon and Alliance, plus there will be the return of Unchained Battles that were first introduced at KeyForge Celebration last year. Lastly, a new event called “Sealed Token Creature Faceoff” will be held on Sunday as a side event. More details on this event will be available soon.

Ask a Judge

In my opponent’s battleline, they have Drecker that has been warded. If I fight Drecker’s neighbor, will the damage remove the ward from Drecker?

No, Drecker’s ability is an unusual one in that it resolves in Step 4 of the damage timing, when damage counters are placed onto the creature. This happens after damage mitigation from effects that prevent damage, ward, and armor. Drecker’s ability means that as the damage counters are placed onto Drecker’s neighbor (after damage mitigation), that same number of damage counters is placed on Drecker. Since damage mitigation has already happened, Drecker’s ward token cannot prevent the damage, nor will the ward token be discarded.
