Vault Tour 2026 Portland Results
The 2026 Vault Tour season is now officially underway, with the first stop of the season taking place this past weekend at Guardian Games in Portland, Oregon.
Congratulations to Sealed champion LoganComposer, Archon champion nedmike, and Alliance champion BearBear.
Additionally, three side events were held, the first of their kind introduced in the 2026 season. Additional results for these events are listed in the Play Wrap-Up below.
Ask a Judge
Q: I control 3 cards. One is a creature my opponent owns that I took control of on a previous turn. I play Timequake. What happens to the creature my opponent owns? How many cards do I draw?
A: The creature you don’t own is still considered a ‘friendly card’ as it’s under your control, so it will leave play. However when that card leaves play, it is shuffled into your opponent’s deck instead of your own, as they are that card’s owner.
As a result, two cards are shuffled into your deck, and one card is shuffled into your opponent’s deck. Since Timequake references how many cards you shuffled into your own deck this way, you would draw a total of two cards.
