NEKO II Announced
The event organizers of the NEKO event series have announced that NEKO II will take place on Saturday, January 31 & Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Six Feet Under Games in Gap, PA, the same location where last year’s event was held.
No further details were provided, but the organizers are expected to share more in the future. Last year’s event, NEKO I: Savage Clash, saw approximately 35 individuals attend the two-day event. Individuals interested in learning more can join the NEKO Discord server for updates as they become available.
KeyChain Leaves Beta
The KeyChain team announced that the event and player progression site has now left beta and entered full release. Notable features of the release include:
Support for Organization playgroups
Ability for users to apply to register LGS or Organization playgroups
Support for online play
Support for premier tournaments
KeyChain was in beta for approximately six months, launching in April of this year. KeyChain is open for anyone to sign-up for on the KeyChain website.
Ask a Judge
Q: My opponent has Atrocity in play. At the start of my turn, I discard the top card of my deck and reveal a Dis card. Can I play Mark of Dis and damage one of my own creatures to potentially put me into that creature’s house on my next turn instead of the house forced by Atrocity?
A: Yes. The abilities of both Mark of Dis and Atrocity specify that you must choose the active house indicated. If the active player is instructed they “must choose” two (or more) houses, the active player may choose any one of those houses.
