ANNOUNCING: BPP Community Cards 2025

Last year at KeyForge Celebration 2024, Bad Penny Press partnered with multiple KeyForge content creators to create “Creator Cards”, which modified games with match-warping modifiers. We heard that the cards were a hit amongst players and creators alike, and we’re happy to share we’re bringing it to KeyForge Celebration 2025 — bigger and better than before — with Community Cards.

IT’S NOT JUST CREATORS THIS TIME

The name says it all. We’re expanding and opening the doors to more community groups than ever before: Teams, leagues, websites, event hosts, mode/variant creators, and more (and yes, content creators too of course!).

WORLDWIDE REACH

Regardless of where you’re from, or if you can attend KFC or not this year, you’ll still be able to participate as a card creator and still have the opportunity have your cards printed and made available to KFC attendees. In order to make this possible, we’re asking that people who want their cards printed for KFC cover their portion of the printing costs. (More information included in the application).

YOU’RE INVITED!

If you’re directly behind any community effort or project which engages with KeyForge primarily and directly, we’re inviting you to apply to have a community card created, featuring your brand logo as the card’s art. Used to manage a community project that’s no longer active? No problem, community entities past or present are welcome to apply. All that matters is that KeyForge is (or was) at the center of it.

We’re just scratching the surface. Community Cards come with a new way to play, and a new way to grow and expand your collection. We’re not quite ready to talk about that quite yet, but stay tuned for more info in the coming months.

Q: I have Xyp the Implanter in play. My opponent has Psionic Officer Lang in their battleline. If I reap with Xyp the Implanter and take control of Psionic Officer Lang, will Psionic Officer Lang’s ability still resolve?

A: No. After completing the resolution of Xyp the Implanter’s After Reap: ability, Psionic Officer Lang has changed control, meaning Xyp the Implanter is no longer considered an enemy creature to the controller of Psionic Officer Lang, so Psionic Officer Lang's ability will not resolve.

KAGI and Sloppy Labwork have announced March Madness - KAGI off the Chain - a 32-player single elimination bracket wherein archons will compete in Best of One (Bo1) adaptive play over the course of five weeks. There is a $5 entry fee. Registration is open now and will remain open until 32 players is reached or end of day February 23th AOE.
