The first ever Northeast KeyForge Open (NEKO) is less than one week away, with the inaugural event taking place this weekend from February 1–2 at Six Feet Under Games in Gap, PA.

Event organizers made an announcement last week sharing some new additional prize information, including prize support from Ghost Galaxy including the first chance to win decks from the newest upcoming set KeyForge Discovery, special OP decks, and Discover KeyForge OP event Keychains. This will be supported by additional prizes by the organizers including a trophy, personalized playmats, and an assortment of decks.

NEKO I: Savage Clash will also be streamed on Twitch by June starting around 11:30am ET and will feature the first livestreamed game of KeyForge Discovery, tentatively scheduled for 2:00pm on Saturday Feb 1st during the lunch break.

Q: I play Æmber Storm and have 7 Æmber in my pool. Do I have to do 7 damage to a single creature, or can I split the damage among multiple creatures?

A: The rules for "For Each" state: "Some abilities include an effect that uses the term “for each” to determine the magnitude of the effect. Unless otherwise specified, a player may choose to affect a different card with each instance of such an effect." So in the case of Æmber Storm, you may choose to split the damage among multiple creatures.
