2025 Vaults Announced

Ghost Galaxy has announced the 2025 Vault Tour schedule! Similar to last year, five US and five international Vault Tours are planned. The US stops have dates and locations all confirmed:

April 25–27: Vault Tour 2025 Rochester (Rochester, NY)
May 16–18: Vault Tour 2025 Roseville (Roseville, MN)
June 20–22: Vault Tour 2025 Portland (Portland, OR)
July 11–22: Vault Tour 2025 Baltimore (Baltimore, MD)
September 19–21: Vault Tour 2025 Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

Four of the five locations are return visits, with the new addition being Portland, OR (replacing San Antonio from the previous year). Ticket cost for the US vaults remains at $100 + an Event Key for any World Championship qualifying tournaments.

The international stops do not have dates and locations yet, but are being planned in the following countries:

China (Organized by Asmodee China)
Vietnam (Organized by d20 Board Game)
Spain (Organized by Asmodee Spain)
Germany (Organized by Elznir Games)
France (Organized by Square Games)

Similar to the US, four of the five international Vaults are returning countries from last year, with France replacing Italy from the previous year.

Also revealed the post was the updated Vault Tour schedule. Compared to the 2024 season, Friday’s Sealed tournament now begins one hour earlier, also conducting the Top 8 quarterfinals in the same day. Also new, simultaneous to Sunday’s Top Cut finals for Archon and Alliance, is a “Sunday Sealed Mini-Tournament.”

Lastly, prizing information was detailed, confirming the release of a Vault Masters 2025 set available at Vault Tours similar to the previous two seasons. Tickets, accommodations, and additional information for all Vaults are available on the 2025 Vault Tour page.

Ask a Judge

Q: There are no creatures in either player’s battleline. I play Sidekick enhanced with a damage bonus icon. Will I be able to resolve Sidekick’s Play: ability and create a token creature from a card in my hand, or is Sidekick destroyed first?

A: You will not resolve Sidekick’s Play: ability. In this case, you resolve the damage pip, dealing the damage to Sidekick. Then, you would resolve the destruction of Sidekick. (The rules for Ability state "If resolving part of the instructions of a card ability causes other card effects to begin to resolve, resolve those other card effects before continuing to resolve the instructions of the first card.") In this case that means that Sidekick will be destroyed and leave play before its Play: ability can be resolved.
